I don't often do shout outs and should do more of it because we have so many fantastic local business partners here in Newcastle. I thought these guys needed one though because I am ALWAYS asked how difficult it is to get insurance for our pedicab operations - most people think that riding revellers around busy streets in heavily ladden tricycles at night time may be a bit of a bitter pill for an underwriter. My answer is that its not difficult at all, its always been McEasy. https://www.facebook.com/McCluskeyInsuranceBrokersPtyLtd/?fref=ts

Hit 106.9 (formerly known as NXFM) are launching their rebranding with live broadcasting from Dixon Park today. Lynch's Hub would not be happening without the huge support that these guys have put behind us so we'd be massively appreciative to any of our supporters who could pop by to say thanks.

Hi everyone. Just sending out a quick update on where we are up to. I've been trying to contact everyone to get mailing addresses for the rewards and prizes. I've sent group emails then individual emails, posts on FB, private messages on FB, updates on the Pozible and any other means I can think of to get in touch with everyone. It is taking up lots of time and I'm concious that some people may have selected rewards for use as Xmas presents. So I'm now going to shift focus now to getting the rewards and prizes out to those who have provided details, I won't be chasing anymore so please if you haven't sent in your address or you are wondering where your goodies are, we need to hear from you with a mailing address. Now for some Awesome news....we could be starting the first works at Lynch's as early as the end of this week. The first thing that has to be done is the sewer connection. It wasn't works included in the crowd fund but in order to get the certificate that we need to carry on with the crowd fund works, the sewer needs to be connected and ticked off as compliant by Hunter Water. I have the plumbers tentatively booked for late this week and just waiting on council to get back to me with one thing before we can crack on. I'll post a live video of first dirt being turned when it happens. Very exciting I've also had a minor stumbling block (nothing insurmountable) with the coffee and icecream bikes. The fellow I had lined up to do the design and build has pulled out after having confirmed he would take the job as he says he has too much work on. It's a shame because this guy was perfect (a custom bike frame builder that has gone into building custome coffee machines). We will find somebody else but as Christmas is smack bang in the way now we will probably wait till mid-Jan to start chasing something up. I think we will still be fine on the promised timeline for those who booked this as a pledge reward. If anyone knows any evil geniuses with a skill set that may lend itself to this job then please let us know. Will keep you all in the loop as we go. Don't forget, if you're wondering where your goodies are then I probably haven't recieved your address so please send it on through.

Spent afternoon in the ..... workshop....(that sounds like I was working..doesn't it?? -certainly wasn't just playing with cool toys, fully work related, its all business in this picture) with the boys from Virtual Perspective. It doesnt look like much on the screen, but through the goggles it felt like that thing was going to rip my head off.

Doing a tour of the commbabk innovation lab in Darling Harbour today. Have just had a very frank and searching discussion with chip here and he has assured me that at no point will he try to take over the world before sending an assasin back in time to take out the mother of an important human resistance leader. So everything should be fine.
