Raising some babies with one of your own girls can be so rewarding, But there can also be some headaches 🤕 in this case the baby go a headache from one of her Auntys who didn’t want anything to do with the chick 🐣. So chick can here & spent the night in the brooder to recover & wait for her other sisters to hatch. She is now back with mum & feeling better also in a separate coop away from nasty Aunty.

Up date on possum and baby. Found then in the bucket that we make the mash in, so I slid them both into the cat cage. That is when I noticed she was in trouble, she had a swollen foot with bite wounds. Off to the vet we went, she only started a few hours & back home with a weeks worth of antibiotic.
