Description
Excellence and Opportunity in an Innovative and Supportive Learning Environment Wirreanda Public School was established in 1985. The school is situated in an expanding residential area.
"Wirreanda" is an aboriginal name which when translated means, "Place where wallabies live under tall trees". The school is set in an attractive, natural environment and has the reputation for the provision of a balanced educational curriculum in the key learning areas. At Wirreanda, children will be given the opportunity to contribute to the best of their ability, to grow and develop to their potential. Wirreanda school emphasises excellence, equity, and the development of a sense of personal worth, mutual respect and responsibility. Our school aims to allow children to "Grow in Harmony", by offering a safe, ordered environment, which provides care, fair discipline and relevant educational programs.

On Friday there will be a clap out for Year 6 and our departing teachers. It will start at approximately 3:10pm with students finishing the clap out in the NOLA, not the COLA as has been previously done.

Kindergarten had so much fun at Oakvale Farm today. I bet there are some very tired little people tonight!
