Song writers live at The Boatshed tonight! Get down early and get an eyeful of Sydney's up and coming talent! Thomas James 'It seems not all Sydney beachside musicians are electronic, beat dropping, funkalicious producers. Thomas James' inspired representations of personal experiences, through intelligent chord progressions and lovely vocal melodies might just be what we've been missing in the music scene for some time. Give him a guitar or a keyboard, put a mic in his face, and you might just be reminded what music is all about; passion, emotion, and one hell of a drive to share a story with you…’ Santino Salvadore Sicilian musician/songwriter with an eclectic, warm and energetic sound, moved in Edinburgh (Scotland) for a few years starting to write in English and getting the songs out during the Fringe festival. However, he recorded his first EP, "Life, Music & Bread" in the Scottish capital. He currently lives in Sydney. Flick the Bean Flick the Bean formed back in 2011 with one mission, make great music and have a fucking ball doing it. The now five piece indie-rock-hop outfit have always prided themselves on fun party tunes and a laid back attitude. Notorious for outlandish onstage antics and for being the perpetrators of good times Flick the Bean are always ready to go when it comes to producing the goods on stage and off. In late 2014 the lads embarked on a 10 country tour of Europe playing some sold out venues and finishing with an Oktoberfest gig in front of over 1500 people but its the new vibes of 2016 armed with our newest additions, who are lording on both vocals and sax, that really have people talking. Rufflefeather 'Rufflefeather are a local 4 piece indie/psych band with music in their hands and fire in their bellies. after playing together since 2011 they have attained a state of hive mind connectivity, surpassing the need for verbal communication (though they still do so to maintain appearances) Rufflefeather will begin recording their new material in early 2015 Facebook/Rufflefeather

Friday...The Hollering Sluggers, love drunk hearts and Late The Jay Birds!! The Hollerin Sluggers are performing their special brand of gritty blues with special guests The Love drunk Hearts Easter 2014 a group of Narrabeen Surfers decided to help a young local lad join the world big wave surfing circuit, an event was organised to support him and make his dream a reality . The idea was to put on some local bands and raffle off some stuff to raise funds. A local band cancelled so the guitarist/vocalist (Owen) teamed up with another a local drummer/harmonica player (Andy) to create a very special blues powerhouse duo. They pulled a set together of Blues standards and some originals. This went down a treat ,a sonic wall of power and beauty was soon unleashed on the unsuspecting audience - something magical clicked and together they they knew something special had begun, realising they had to continue this project , THE HOLLERIN SLUGGERS were born! The Hollerin Sluggers are a power house gritty Blues n Rock trio from Sydney Australia that perform their own original compositions. Its all about the groove with this band delivering high energy performances with Owen Mancell on Guitar/Vocals, Tim Cramer on Bass and Andy Thor on Drums/Harmonica. Their influences and style is a throw back to the days of Zeppelin,Hendrix and all those riffy Blues/Rock bands of the 60's& 70"s with a modern thrust that engages the audience from start to finish. Then Late....The Jay Birds will be here playing all your favourites into the early hours!
