It's honesty and integrity that can make or break a business! We had a "feel good moment" here yesterday... A new customer came to us wanting a quote on a 2nd hand / reconditioned motor for a Toyota Corolla. We quoted them $2,200, but instincts being what they are, made us question the problem and we suggested carrying out our own diagnosis. After all, it's very unusual that a Corolla needs a new motor!! They were initially quoted $2,600 by another mechanic. After completing our own compression test and found no problem with the motor - it was the coil packs that were actually at fault. We re-quoted the customer $1,064 for testing & full set of coils. That's 40% of their original quote = one happy customer!!!! It pays to shop around peeps.
