It was a great pleasure having Sydney 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist Lauren Burns drop into the Combat Centre this week to talk to Australia's emerging taekwondo athletes. Burns shared her experiences as an athlete to help these juniors with their journey. She spoke about being proactive in her own learning, professional, confident, and the importance of having time with friends outside the sport to help with life balance and relaxation. #athletepathways #taekwondo #AISCombatCentre #LaurenBurns #EmergingAtletes Australian Taekwondo Australian Institute of Sport
