Towards the end of last year I met with a mentor who asked me about my goals and I said that within the next three years I wanted to be the number one business for Century21 Australasia. He then asked how I was going to do it and from that moment I made the decision to make myself and my staff accountable for every action I was not going to accept second best my staff had to be the best in the marketplace if I had any chance of achieving my goals. I started to teach them the importance of world class customer service ensuring that our level of service which was already better than most had to be the best I wanted every single person who dealt with my business to feel special. People had to make changes they had to get out of their comfort zone and inevitably these changes were too hard for some and we lost people in our team as they decided to move on. But I have always believed that when someone goes another person grows. Once we removed the roadblocks we attracted new amazing people and the results have been flowing with constant positive feedback from customers on a regular basis the past month has seen us sign up a record number of new customers and in the quarters since meeting with my mentor our agency has been recognised as the number one agency in Australasia on two occasions. I am so exited about where we are heading but more importantly I am immensely proud of my team of 22 amazing individuals who have embraced our culture and our dream. It is feedback like this bellow that makes me confident that with the people I now have around me I can achieve my goals.
