Metzeler wins again, beating Pirellis new Diablo Rosso 3! This is surprising due to the fact that Pirelli and Metzeler are owned by the same holding company so often tests do not include Metzeler and Pirelli together (see sport touring tyre test below -angel GT not included) Also note that Metzeler achieved 1st AND 2nd in the sport touring tyre test with the Roadtec Z8 and the new Roadtec 01! Still amazes me that many have never heard of Metzeler in Australia! Supersport Tyres test results:- 1. METZELER SPORTEC™ M7 RR | 8.9/10 2. Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO™ III 8.2/10 3. Continental SportAttack3 7.6/10 4. Bridgestone S21 7.2/10 5. Dunlop SportSmart 2 6.1/10 6. Michelin Pilot Power 3 5.9/10 Sport Touring test results:- 1. METZELER ROADTEC™ 01 | 9.8/10 2. Top 10 reasons not to put nitrogen in your tyres
Goes on a bit but pretty much my thoughts when i get asked about nitrogen. Start at 3minutes in and skip to point 10 if you get too bored :-)

Just in case you are wondering, no I don't look like this ,-)
Just a small note... If you want to do your own servicing and maintenance that is fine. However, if you dont know what you are doing PLEASE leave it to people who do. Yesterday after fitting tyres i discovered the front calipers had a little issue. To cut to the chase, front brake pads could have fallen out at any time! So the money saved now has to be spent on parts that were wrecked while replacing pads. Overall saving probably about -$50. .. Potentially was a serious accident in the making, and maybe I could have been blamed.......... I didnt refit the the calipers....
