facebook.comWe would like to congratulate one of our patient's Monique for being listed as a BCNA Hero! Monique was diagnosed with Breast Cancer but saw diet and exercise as important adjunct therapies that gave her control back over the cancer. Having completed the 10km run last year just prior to commencing chemotherapy, Monique has worked with our Exercise Physiologist to prepare for this year to tackle the 20km run this time!!! (I get tired just thinking about it) No spoilers yet, but Monique hit 18km last week with 5 weeks to go before game day. Congratulations Monique, we are super proud of you, you hard work and commitment is an inspiration. Read her story below.
