Our mission is to advocate on behalf of minorities in Education while promoting academic success, diversity, equality, and  leadership. Our organization accomplishes our goals by providing professional development opportunities, community service, and mentoring. The MEA pays it forward through volunteering, advocating, and  mentoring high school students. We are an open group affiliated with Youngstown State University. We emphasize the need for diversity and recognize its existence in our organization, communities, and among our students. This group is not exclusive to minorities, but it open to all who supports the need for diversity and advocates for equal  education, advancement, and equality for underrepresented groups.
