Rootstock & Vine, featuring Vintner's Rooftop is planned to become Downtown Woodstock’s Iconic Corner. The founding partners of Vintner's Entertainment Group, LLC consists of four local entrepreneurs combining extensive knowledge of business development, customer service and specialty wines. Sean and Anna Daily own several local businesses that include Mechanical Contracting and Real Estate. Kevin Kino and Vince Monroe own and manage the “Gifted Ferret’ in Woodstock, a boutique style retail store, specializing in Artisan wine sales and unique gifts. Both couples are long term residents of Woodstock and have been friends for years. Our mission is simple;
We want to bring a Premium Wine and Dessert Bar to the corner of Downtown Woodstock, creating an upscale, modern environment, while preserving the historical value of the past.
We are working closely with the City of Woodstock to present our community with a truly iconic corner that all residents can be proud of. The city will be removing the corner building, known as the Lester building, making way for a left turn lane at the Towne Lake/Main street intersection (This has been in planning for years and I think we can all vote YES for turning left at the traffic light.) We will transform the remaining building, currently known as ‘Hotdog Heaven’ into an attractive, upscale corner site with a subtle, appealing color scheme.
Our plans are to preserve the original building and expand construction to the rear of the property, with high focus and priority on preserving the historical aspect. The complete building will have a full rooftop deck and bar, hosting its own personality and vibe. “Vintner's Rooftop’ will be overlooking the new Downtown Woodstock Amphitheater, providing incredible views of our master planned city.
The upscale Wine and Dessert bar, Rootstock and Vine, will specialize in low production, artisan wines of unique varietals and blends that simply can’t be found in other locations. To spice it up, we plan to house a variety of specialty cocktails at our full line bar, with careful detail to having the finest bourbon drinks in town. If that wasn’t enough to get you ready for the grand opening; expected July 2017, here is a “sneak peek” of the other great services we will provide

As we start the transformation and conservation of the last standing historical building on the Northwest corner of Main Street and Towne Lake Parkway, we invite you to become part of the future of Downtown Woodstock while helping us preserve a piece of its history. We are building a memorial wall celebrating this exciting time as our great downtown continues to grow and develop. With the removal of the Lester Building that has housed the long-standing Woodstock mural to make room for a new left turn lane, we sought to preserve the spirit of the mural. Our personalized wine stave wall will be proudly displayed high atop Vintner’s Rooftop creating a new landmark for the community, and an icon in Downtown Woodstock. Rooftop Stave Wall A 6-ft. high and 20 ft. long wall will be erected on Vintner’s Rooftop, which will be constructed of oak wine barrel staves. Each stave is 36” long and will be sold to individuals or local business owners. A third of a stave will cost $100. A half stave cost of $150 or $250 for a full stave (amount of characters is limited by size of stave). The stave will have the inscription of your choice burnt into the wood. This would make a wonderful and unique gift or a great conversational piece for you and your friends while visiting Rootstock & Vine in the heart of downtown. It’s sure to make you smile when you see your inscription on the wall, knowing that your contribution helps to save and restore a historic building in our lovely downtown area! The new Rootstock & Vine building will sit proudly at the Northwest corner of the Towne Lake Parkway and Main Street intersection.
