Please Make a note - The next belt test will be Wednesday July 19th at 7:00 PM. The list of those eligible will be posted today. Check the board when you come in tonight! If you think that you have been left off the list by mistake, notify one of the instructors immediately! Don't forget that anyone testing must have their gloves, mouth guard and full uniform the evening of the test!

There will be classes this Weekend, but we will NOT have classes on Monday (July 3rd) or Tuesday (July 4th). Classes will resume on Wednesday (July 5th). Enjoy the holiday!

Remember - No judo tomorrow. Regular Judo classes resume next week!

Small class, but intense (and fun) training. Sometimes a smaller class is better, because it gives more time to work with each individual. My head is still feeling the effect of the palm strikes and ear slaps even though I was wearing body armor and head gear! Shows that the Attendees took the lessons to heart! Good Job!

Just to let everyone know - the 11:00AM Judo class on Saturday June 24th is cancelled. We will resume the regular schedule starting July 1st. Please let other class members know about this if you speak to them during the week.

To all students, yellow belt and above - if you expect to spar in class you MUST bring your gloves and mouth guard. It is also highly recommended that you buy Foot Guards and I personally would purchase a set of soft shin guards. Remember, no gloves and mouth guard - no sparring! We have Mouth Guards, gloves and foot guards in stock.

Great Demo this morning at the Classic Cinema in Woodstock. Thanks to all the students who came and put on a very impressive performance. Everyone in the crowd that I talked to commented on the control, power and precision - especially during the board breaking. Great job everybody!

For the Wednesday Morning Demo we will meet at the studio at 8:30 AM and walk over to the Classic Cinema about 8:45. Parking on the Square is limited so plan your arrival accordingly. If you are late and we are already gone, please join us at the theater. The Demonstration will last from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. At that time we will walk back to the Studio.
