Jake Ilika Returns! Jake Ilika is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis by way of Winona, MN. Through his solo work, Ilika Ward Duo, and his band The Heavy Set, he covers the bases of Americana with a variety of sounds and styles. He plays finger-style acoustic, tasteful electric, lap steel, resonator, pedal steel and keys, and enjoys collaborations with fellow musicians around the region. His self-titled debut EP was released in March of 2014, and a solo album, "Live At Casket Arts" was released in March of 2015. The Heavy Set's first full-length album, "Everybody's Got A Mountain" will be released November 3rd, 2015. Jake has shared the stage with Caroline Smith & The Good Night Sleeps, Chastity Brown, Erik Koskinen, Charlie Parr, Euforquestra, Black Market Brass, The 4onthefloor, Mark Mallman, Chris Koza & Rogue Valley, Actual Wolf, Jillian Rae, Horseshoes & Handgrenades and many more.
