Congratulations to our staff for having the 1st place float in last night's Christmas Parade. It took a lot of teamwork and a lot of leadership by our Engineering department to bring it all together. It is so nice to be in a community that values tradition and comes together to celebrate. Merry Christmas, Valley, and surrounding towns.

Cornerstone members at EAMC-Lanier recently collected baby items for Sav-a-Life in Lanett. When we phoned Machelle Hall, Executive Director at Sav-a-Life to ask her if they could accept our donations, she was thrilled at the generosity of our employees. Machelle replied, "that would be great! We can accept and use any and all baby items. We price these items comparable to what our clients would pay if they bought the item in the store, but they use their “baby bucks” that they have earned here at SAL to “purchase” these items. They earn baby bucks by participating in our Earn While You Learn parenting program weekly. Basically, all baby item donations will be used in our “Caring Closet”. I am so thankful that EAMC-Lanier thought about Sav-A-Life for this project. Thank you so much!!" Shown are just a few of our Cornerstone members: Frances Smith-Darden, Jackie Andrews, Sandy Cox, Dr. Kim Owens (Medical Director for Sav-a-Life) and Machelle Hall. Thanks EAMC-Lanier! You are awesome...........

Thanks so much to Miss Smiley and her team for bringing such a wonderful world of color to our Nursing Home residents this morning. SPARK is an organization based in Columbus, GA, that has a mission of spreading art to its local communities and to expose new artists and creators. Today, Miss Smiley instructed our residents on how to mix and match colors to create their very own unique design. So much fun!
