The Area Health Education Center's (AHEC) Primary Care Rural Preceptorship Program (PCRPP) is designed to introduce LSU Heath Shreveport students to medical care in a rural and/or medically under-served area, and enables the student to work one-on-one with a practitioner in either a private practice setting or in a public health service environment. This program is offered to LSU Health Shreveport medical students the summer after the first year of medical school. Watch to learn more!
