Red River District
Description
Red River Entertainment District is part of the City of Shreveport, located underneath the Texas Street Bridge in downtown Shreveport. The Red River Entertainment District opened in 2002 as a 12,000 square foot development. The buildings, designed to look historic and refurbished to 19th century architecture, house restaurants, businesses and live entertainment venues.
The Red River Entertainment District is in the heart of Shreveport's riverfront and is a destination for residents and tourists alike.
The mission of the Red River Entertainment District is to bring the business, entertainment and creative sectors together to advance commerce and culture, build community, create activities, provide access and infrastructure designed to spur economic development.

Bring your little elf to the Red River District on Sat., December 2 from 4-6pm for a frolicking good time of games, crafts and icky, sticky treats. Then try to settle them down to watch Will Ferrell in "Elf" at 6pm. Free sugary fun for sure!
Shop the Nutcracker Market in the Red River District on Sat., December 9th from noon to 5pm. Local crafters and artisans will be on hand to sell holiday gifts, decorations, and treats. Bring your camera for free pictures with Santa in his antique sleigh. Don't miss it!
