Art can evoke a different experience for every person that encounters it. It can provide inspiration, perspective, clarity, or a glimpse into another world or time. In the small town of Assisi, Italy, the wall paintings in the Basilica of St. Francis are among the most beautiful in the world. Join us THIS SATURDAY, February 3rd, in Bonaventure Hall for a fascinating FREE talk by Fr. Francis Lee and explore how these magnificent works of art can help us visualize the spirituality of Franciscan evangelization. Fr. Yongho Francis Lee, OFM is a Franciscan friar from South Korea who has extensive knowledge in the field of religious studies. He earned his Licentiate degree in Sacred Theology at the School of Theology and Ministry in Boston College, then proceeded to pursue his doctoral degree in the field of World Religions, World Church at the University of Notre Dame.
