This Village of Pleasant Prairie social media site is a limited public forum intended as a supplemental means of sharing information related to the Village of Pleasant Prairie and the municipal services it provides. Our goal is for this page to be a resource that people of all ages can access for accurate and reliable information and education.
While we will do our best to respond to service related questions during regular business hours, this page will not be monitored on an around the clock basis. Please do not use this site to report time sensitive issues. Please call 262.694.1400 to reach Village Hall during regular business hours. A true emergency should be reported by dialing 9-1-1.
The Village of Pleasant Prairie reserves the right to temporarily suspend or terminate official Village social media sites at any time. User generated posts may be rejected or removed (if possible) from the site when the content:
a. includes profane language, is explicit or graphic, and is not suitable for an all ages audience;
b. is abusive, threatening, hateful, or intended to defame anyone or any organization;
c. suggests or encourages illegal activity;
d. promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, gender identity, or sexual orientation;
e. is posted by a person/group whose profile picture, username, or email address contains any of the aforementioned prohibited conduct;
f. solicits, advertises, promotes, or endorses any financial, commercial, or non-governmental product or service;
g. attempts to defame or defraud any person or financial, commercial, or governmental agency;
h. compromises the safety and security of the public or public systems;
i. violates any local, state, or federal law; and
j. promotes political purposes, a candidate, or content associated with a candidate for elected office, any political party or ballot proposal.

A Snow Emergency has been declared in the Village of Pleasant Prairie beginning today, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. and will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, February 10. During a Snow Emergency, no parking is allowed on Village Streets. All Snow Emergency parking restrictions will be enforced throughout this time period.
