League of Women Voters Minnesota
Description
EDUCATE. ADVOCATE. REFORM. League of Women Voters Minnesota promotes citizen participation in government and political reform through non-partisan education and public policy advocacy. The League of Women Voters, a non-partisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
We do our work through two legal organizations:
League of Women Voters Minnesota is our membership organization and advocates for the positions we arrive at through study.
The LWV Minnesota Education Fund provides information to the public through forums, publications and conferences, and serves voters by sponsoring candidate forums, organizing voter registration drives and publishing voter guides.
