We are still in need of about 10 donors for our Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, January 12th, here at GMG. We have appointment times available beginning at 11:45, just about every 15 minutes, through 2:45 p.m. If you are able to donate and help save a life, please email LBiggins@garberauto.com what your time preference is and she’ll do her best to accommodate you. Also, looking for 2 people to help with set up and tear down that day.
Our Garber Chevrolet Linwood location held their Holiday Open House Tuesday, Dec 5th and collected 128 gifts for Toys for Tots! Thank you to all of the local businesses that attended and helped with this cause!
**UPDATE- BOGEY HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE** It takes a village, and we need the help of the Saginaw community in locating one of our own's missing dog. Bogey went missing late 12-4-17 near Brockway and Passult. Bogey is a male Aussie-Doodle and weighs about 70 lbs. He is very shy and new to the area, so please don't chase him. If you see him, please call 262-388-3552.
Today Jason Gomez with the Michigan Warriors Hockey Program stopped by our Garber Chevrolet Linwood location to offer the team a commemorative puck and challenge coin in honor of the up-coming Warriors Charity Hockey Game the dealership is sponsoring! Join the Saginaw Spirit on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 for their Military Appreciation Night Game against the North Bay Battalion. If you are an active duty or retired military, you will receive One (1) complimentary Upper Level ticket to the game. Special Red, White, and Blue camouflage jerseys will be worn and auctioned off after the game. In addition, the Garber Chevrolet Linwood store is hosting a Military Appreciation Day on November 11th at the dealership! All active and non-active military receive a “free” oil change on that day!
The GMG and GFS teams participated in the annual Chili Cook Off today! The top 3 White Chili finalists were: Jessica Schmoyer, Jeni Hamlin, and Susan Dambro with Susan taking the first place trophy! The 3 Red Chili finalists were: Tenera Tatum, Heidi Hollinshead and Kala Smith with Kala taking the first place trophy! The teams raised over $600 through raffle drawings in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Good job everyone!

We held our drawing for the Light Up the Night Raffle in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society today! In three weeks time our company, vendors and supporting friends have raised approximately $125,000 for the cause! Congratulations to the following people: Jim Sharrard for winning the 32g iPad Ryan Horton for winning the 125g iPad Annie Packard for winning a golf for 4 package at Apple Mountain Brandon Mudry for winning 4 tickets to the U of M vs Minnesota Cameron Curry winning the Crystal Mountain stay and golf package
The Walk to End Alzheimer's in Midland is coming up this weekend!
Today the teams of Garber Management Group and Gateway Financial got to pie the managers in the face- for a good cause of course! In total, the two teams raised $1,130 towards the Light the Night Walk for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Thank you Dave Maginnis (GFS), Dick Garber, Trey Tollstam (GMG), Ty Mier (GMG), Mark Rankin (GFS), Pat Hengesbach (GMG) and special guest Mike Vaneck for being such good sports!
