MainStreet Roswell First Friday DownTown Market November 3, 2017 “Honoring Our Veterans” November is when citizens across our country remember the sacrifice and service of our Veterans. With this in mind, our DownTown merchants are doing something special for them as well and have selected “Honoring Our Veterans” as the theme of this month’s First Friday. The holidays can be difficult for Veterans who may be struggling financially. Many of our downtown businesses will be collecting donations to make holiday food baskets for our local veterans in need. Some will donate a percentage of sales to fund food baskets, some will be collecting non-perishable holiday food items (boxed stuffing mix, canned vegetables, boxed potato mixes, cranberry sauce, cake mixes, etc), and some merchants will be offering specials or discounts this First Friday to honor our Veterans.
