It is with great sadness that we announce that Smashed has permanently closed. We have enjoyed our time in Rexburg, and will miss this community and all of our wonderful customers! We hope that you will continue to support small businesses, and entrepreneurs as they pursue their dreams and work hard to provide a quality product/service. Opening and operating a restaurant is not easy, and to dispel some rumors, we would like to provide clarifications on a few things. While there have been many businesses come and go, especially in our location, we are closing due to a variety of reasons, namely personal ones. The summer break at BYU-Idaho is a very difficult time for small retail and service businesses in Rexburg, but the community came out in droves to support and try Smashed. We are not a franchise, but rather a concept developed from scratch, and one that most of the community received with welcoming support and excitement. During our time in business, we had the opportunity to get to know many of our customers personally, and for that we are ever grateful. We would like to encourage our customers and the community of Rexburg to be compassionate and understanding of small businesses and the difficulties they face. There were many who stuck with us during our opening period, provided great feed back and helped us grow, and for that we appreciate you.
