Owasso Library
Description
The Owasso Library, one of 24 Tulsa City-County Library locations, is located in the heart of downtown Owasso. The Owasso Library is located in downtown Owasso and is a focal point of the Owasso community. We offer 15 public computers for Internet use, 2 laptops for in-library check-out, and 2 AWE early literacy stations for children. We have a Convenience Center where you can make copies (black/white and color), fax and use wireless printing. The library also offers free Wi-Fi.
The Owasso Library is one of four Family Place Libraries in the Tulsa City-County Library system, catering specifically to families with children ages 3 and under. Our Family Place learning area contains toys and learning materials for young children and is appreciated by both children and parents as a place to spend time and learn together. We offer Lapsit Storytime, Preschool Storytime and Stay and Play for children birth through five each week as well as a weekly Homeschool Storytime.
Teens enjoy a variety of special programs such as Minecraft, knitting and computer programming. Our adult patrons enjoy a monthly book club, "Books with Barbara," and one-on-one computer help.
We have a collection of 45,000+ books, CDs, DVDs, and audio books along with a staff of 12 people to serve our customers. We hope you will come by the library and see what we have to offer!
