We are almost FINISHED with Summer Reading! Readers have ONE WEEK left to turn in their logs and receive their coupons. We will have our closing ceremony and pass out final awards at our Popsicle Party NEXT THURSDAY, July 28th at 10:30am. This is when kids will have their opportunity to "Fling Whipped Cream" at Mrs. Terra. I NEED YOUR HELP! Each child will get a spoonful of cream to fling at me. Do you think it would be best to have them fling one at a time, or line them all up in a semi-circle and have a countdown and fling all at once? Please comment below!!!

Maybe you've finger painted, or even made hand print art, but have you ever "foot-painted"?! We did today at the library!!! And we also watched some Curious George at our Movie and Crafternoon Event!

Looking for something fun and free to do with your kiddos tomorrow? Join us! We will be taking a field trip... To the track. A Track and Field Trip! 😬 We will have lots of fun activities planned and finish with Root Beer Floats! (If weather doesn't cooperate, we will meet at the high school gym) Meet us at 10:30 am on Thursday, July 14th at the Oskaloosa High School track. Transportation WILL NOT be provided from the library.

Next month's selection for July 25: "The Persian Pickle Club" by Sandra Dallas. Interested in joining us? Contact the library to place a hold on our next book. New members are always welcome!

Be sure to stop by the Oskaloosa Public Library Root Beer Float stand across the street from Gambino's at Old Settlers tonight or tomorrow evening between 6-8:30PM! Root Beer Floats are only $1, and all proceeds will go towards library improvements! The FOOLs (Friends of Oskaloosa Library) Book Store is having a sale this weekend as well! They will be open 9AM-5PM today and 9AM-3PM tomorrow! Books for very cheap, and all proceeds benefit the library!

Join us TOMORROW Thursday, June 23rd at 9:30am (NINE THIRTY!!) for fun with Martial ARTs! We have a couple friends from Topeka Martial Arts coming to give us a fun demonstration. Then stay to make some art! We will be painting!!!
