WHERE HISTORY, CULTURE & COMMUNITY MEET~ We're a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening community spirit in the Fruitvale District, Oakland CA The Fruitvale/Coolidge District is a culturally diverse, eclectic urban community located in Oakland, CA.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening community ties & cultural diversity, providing education & resources and empowering the residents of the Fruitvale & Coolidge District. We provide an array of educational & cultural activities and community outreach resources emphasizing building healthy relationships, etiquette, boosting self esteem, developing resilience to adversity and promote positive self-talk.
We offer an after-school program with a homework/computer labs Mon-Fri, cultural activities through out the week, free hot meals daily, free produce giveaways, urban cultural & holiday events and a eight week summer program. Most activities are offered free of charge.
