If You are in need we are passing out water, ready to eat meals, and snacks at the YMCA pool. Located at 5925 Greenwood ave, next to Dalllas white park.

North Port Child Care will resume regular hours tomorrow; Wednesday, September 13th. We will also be offering a school age all day camp this week. We will open from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm for $20 a day, kids must bring lunches. Please be sure to fill out a registration form at drop off.

PRESCHOOL UPDATES: Venice and North Port Preschools will be open tomorrow, Wednesday. Franz Ross and Charlotte Harbor Preschools are still to be determined due to no power.

Due to the aftermath of the storm our YMCA and child care centers will not be open tomorrow. We will reopen Wednesday, September 13th. Charlotte county preschools are still being determined on their opening date.

For clarification unfortunately we are not designated as a shelter, please go to your county website for a listing of shelters in your area.

Due to the storm path and for the safety of our staff and members the Y will be closed Monday. Please stay safe during this time.

Due to unpredictability of storm path and to allow our staff to prepare their homes and families the preschool and school age programs will follow the Sarasota and Charlotte County School Schedule.

The SKY Family YMCA will be closed on Monday, September 4th in celebration of Labor Day. We will resume our normal business hours on Tuesday. We wish you a safe and happy holiday.

Our Swim Team and their championship swim meet in Venice! The best reward is watching these kids and their accomplishments in the water!

Our North port childcare would like to thank the city of North port solid waste team, for teaching our children about recycling today. They sorted plastic, cardboard, and glass. The team took the kids around the truck and even gave them some shades. Thank you, we had a blast.
