The Norfolk Tides helped us celebrate National Salvation Army Week with a special Salvation Army Night at Harbor Park! The festivities kicked off with a special Doing The Most Good Award presentation to the Tides by The Salvation Army of Hampton Roads Area Commander, Major James Allison, followed by the throwing of the first pitch by Salvation Army Soldier, Michael Alston. Salvation Army Corps Members and Staff joined the crowd to cheer on the Tides as they faced off against the Indianapolis Indians. The Norfolk Tides have continually supported Salvation Army efforts and have shown themselves to be a shining example of the Salvation Army moto of "Doing the Most Good" in the community around them.
