Our Disaster Preparedness Coordinator, Ivan Lund, shared some great information on fire safety during this cold winter weather. Here are a few at home safety tips for you and your family: • Check that all smoke alarms are working properly • Make a map of your home and mark all windows and doors through which you may escape • Choose a meeting place outside the home where firefighters can see you and your family • Write the emergency telephone number for your fire department on your escape plan • Practice your fire escape drill • Keep your fire escape plan in a common area where everyone can see it, i.e. refrigerator For additional information visit https://www.usfa.fema.gov/prevention/
Please note, ECCO is closed in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr day. Check back in with us tomorrow!

Meet 7-year-old Parker Moses, his Mom, Holly, and 7 (and a half) year-old Ella Ballenger. Parker sold his Christmas candy and a few other things from home in his neighborhood to raise money for ECCO. He and his family also collected blankets from neighbors to donate as well. Kind gestures like these help us serve our community each day. Thank you Parker and Moses family!
