This week's Happenings in Downtown Mooresville! At Noon today, Richard's Coffee Shop and Veterans Museum will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary. Join in for refreshments, recognitions, tours & fellowship. (165 N. Main St) Friday, May 19 kicks off the Mooresville Spinners baseball season. A wooden bat baseball league, the Mooresville Spinners will take on the Highpoint Locos at 7pm in Moore Park (691 S. Broad St). Saturday, May 20 the Mooresville Chamber of Commerce will host the Race City Festival in Downtown Mooresville with music on two stages, food, beer, kids games & vendor booths. 9am-5pm on Broad & Main Streets. Saturday, May 13 is the next Downtown Mooresville Festival of Food Trucks event! We'll have plenty of delicious food (ya know Gourmet Fare from a BUNCH OF TRUCKS!) and this year our craft beer will be offered by Ghostface Brewingand we've added wine from Traveling Grapes who will be selling 'Jones Von Drehle' wines! May's line up consists of these 11 awesome trucks: The Big Woodie Bebo's Mac Shack FireGrill Food Freaks of NC - Food Truck Gyro Twins Truck Lobster Dogs-Food Truck Maryland Crab Co. Llc Nana's Porch Rue72clt Ruthie's of Charlotte Smokey J's BBQ Music for May featuring: Hometown Heroes Shadez of Crazee Controlled Chaos & Elevate Rock School - Lake Norman. The tables & chairs we supply go quickly so feel free to bring your own! 5-8:30pm on N. Main St between Moore Ave & Iredell Ave Main Street between Iredell Ave and Moore Ave will be closed for this event and Moore Ave will be closed between Main St and the RR Tracks.
