It is time to sign up for summer classes! Sorry - no registration by email or phone. Your check must accompany your registration form. Thank you! Confirmations will be emailed beginning May 1st. I will be offering many sewing classes for ages 8 and up. Teens and adults can sign up for any of the classes too. Everyone in each sewing class works at their own pace, at their own level, and on their own individual project. Classes are a mix of different levels and different ages. You may sign up for as many classes as you wish. I will do my best to accommodate everyone. A check or your gift certificate should accompany your registration form, please. Checks should be made out to Barbara Quilling, must be received prior to the first class, and refunds will only be made if the class can be filled from the waiting list. You do not have to own a sewing machine to take any of these classes. Very good quality machines are used in all of the classes. However, you may bring your own machine if you wish. Since these classes are located in my home in Mequon, please remember to look out for neighborhood children when arriving and leaving. Cars approaching from the South should just drop off and pick up students on Country Club Drive on the side of my house. Cars coming from the North and West should turn onto Lagoon Ct. from Country Club Drive and drive carefully around the court to drop off and pick up in front of my house on Lagoon Ct. Please do not use the driveway, and park only on my side of the street. We have had complaints from neighbors. For new students – directions to my house are - from the South – Port Washington Rd. to Donges Bay Rd. Turn left on Donges Bay and right on Country Club. I am on the corner of Country Club and Lagoon. From the North or West – Mequon Rd. to Range Line Rd. South on Range Line Rd. to Country Club. Left on Country Club and left on Lagoon Ct. - 2426 W. Lagoon Ct. Please list as many options as possible, especially if you are trying to be placed with a sibling or friend. Classes will be filled on a first come/first served basis. SEWING SESSIONS - Each session is $100.00 for the entire 8 hours. A supply list will be included with your confirmation email. Monday, July 3 3:30 - 5:30 or Monday, August 21 6:30 - 8:30 Textile Design through Silk Screening - Create a T-shirt and some fabric with your own silk screened design. Wednesday, July 5 1:00 - 3:00 or Thursday, July 6 3:30 - 5:30 Textile Design through Strip Quilting - Create a strip quilted square pillow. All students must have basic sewing skills for this class.
