September is #AlzheimersAwarenessMonth. To honor the occasion, people gathered from near and far for Mankato’s annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Sibley Park on Saturday, September 9th. Team Old Main Village participated in the walk and helped in raising funds that will be donated to help benefit research towards a cure for Alzheimer's and dementia. It was an honor to have our community involved in helping raise awareness for Alzheimer's support.
Residents and family members celebrated #GrandparentsDay with a fiesta! Chef Jeff prepared a delicious taco bar, complete with warm apple nachos. Before leaving the fiesta, everyone stopped by the photo booth for a fun picture. ¡Olé!
