Today we hosted our annual luncheon for members of our Michael B. Olbrich Legacy Society. This is a special group of donors who have been generous enough to include Olbrich in their wills or estate plans. The group convenes each spring to share a meal, catch up with friends, learn about what's new at the Gardens, and enjoy a guided tour from staff. We are ever grateful for the support of our Legacy Society members. Last week, 35 high school students, 7 teachers, and 2 Thai officials visited for a tour of the gardens as part of this year's Thailand-Wisconsin Sunrise Program. Each year since 2007, a group of 30-35 Thai students are chosen to stay with host families throughout the state of Wisconsin to foster learning, friendship, and cultural exchange for all parties involved.
