Today we recognize the hard word and dedication of our technician James Parker who has diligently worked hard this year not only at the shop but at night classes to obtain his CERT! It is official as it came in the mail yesterday - James Parker is a CERTIFIED EMISSION REPAIR TECHNICIAN! If you are not certified to work on emissions you should not repair a vehicle with a rejected sticker or the NJDEP (nj department of environmental protection) will come down on you with a heavy fine when they find out! We followed the rules and it's now paying off in the end as we are now certified to repair emission problem vehicles! Thanks James for your hard work and dedication!!! We truly appreciate you!

2010 Dodge Charger came in for an oil change. Customer said previous mechanic who recently installed the coolant reservoir (within 2 weeks ago) flushed the cooling system. We checked the coolant and the capacity and saw that it was low and dirty. We recommended another cooling system flush as we suspected it had not been recently done. As you can see, only 1 1/4 gallons of coolant was drained from system although it holds a 3 3/4 gallon capacity. Coolant was heavily contaminated and did not have enough coolant in system. Moral of story - be very careful when choosing a mechanic and who you trust to work on your vehicle. If we had not caught this cooling system issue of being heavily contaminated and low, major engine damage may have been caused.
