IMPORTANT ALERT: If you or someone you know wants to protect a home against the costs of nursing home care, please act now. Unfortunately, Governor Baker has put a proposal before the state legislature that would leave most families without any feasible option to protect their home if nursing home care is someday needed. If passed, the Governor's proposal would be effective on July 1, 2016. While we hope the Governor's proposal does not pass, we worry that it will and therefore encourage you to contact Gallo Law Office or another elder law attorney soon to protect your home under current law. Please call 781-599-3706 to speak with Attorney Charlie Gallo.
