While driving up McCulloch near Wheeler Park you might notice some construction in the area. Crews are working to redesign the fountain and make it operable again. It will begin to take shape in the next couple of weeks. The fountain was dedicated to Captain James A. Wheeler, United States Air Force, Tucson, Arizona, and all members of the armed services who have given their lives in the maintenance of freedom.
