Description
Excellent in-land aquarium. Devoted to teaching ocean awareness. All displays designed and maintained by students / interns. Unique educational resource http://TeamECCO.org A unique venue for science enrichment and public enjoyment. Classes offered in ocean learning for grades k-12, college intern, and Senior Learning Series. Visitors are greeted by student volunteers who manage the aquariums and answer questions.

This ornate fish is called a Tasseled Filefish, and is one of the most curious fish at Team ECCO. Its 'tassels' help to obscure its shape, and camouflage with surroundings!

Great day here at Team ECCO! It began with an excellent visit and class with the Exceptional Children from Glenn Marlow, and then a busy day with visitors eager to learn! We also finished two grants trying to raise money for the big tank coming in November! Keep your fingers crossed, our sharks are ready for their new home ☺️🦈
