Description
Dandelion, a local eatery is a job training program of Safelight, Inc. Participating interns can gain experience & learn skills to help obtain employment. The Dandelion is a local, green eatery committed to helping Safelight clients find and secure lasting employment. The Dandelion focuses on providing locally grown fresh, seasonal food, in a downtown location one block from Main Street, Hendersonville. The rationale behind this social venture is the understanding that by helping our clients succeed at the steps along a career path we help them become successful in their jobs, families will be more likely to be able to pay the bills, and the number of safe, self-sufficient families in our community will increase.
