The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Emergency Communication Operations (dispatch) within the City of Greenville. The public is encouraged to attend to ask questions and voice an opinion on the matter.

Hydrant Flushing
The City of Greenville Fire Department will begin flushing hydrants on Thursday, June 1, 2017 and end on Friday, June 30, 2017. Anyone living within four (4) blocks of any of the following streets please be aware your water may also be effected. Check for water quality before using as possible rusty water could damage clothing.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: WEST WATER STREET BETWEEN N. BROADWAY AND SYCAMORE WILL REMAIN CLOSED THROUGH THE EVENING. CREWS WERE REPLACING A SECTION OF SEWER PIPE 20' DEEP. ROADWAY IS EXPECTED TO OPEN ON 4-25-2017. PLEASE EXERCISE CAUTION IF YOU MUST TRAVEL IN THE AREA. THANK YOU.

Today, at the City Building, We Are the Majority students from around the county assembled to make a statement about making good decisions. Great job goes out to Molly Hunt, Kelly Harrison and Sharon Deschambeau for organizing such an event. The students and family that gathered were served lunch courtesy of Continental Carbonics and Whirlpool Corporation.
