Highland Hills Community Church
Description
Connect, Grow and Love in Jesus HHCC began with a small group of people meeting in a home, grew into 6:8 Worship that met on Sunday nights at a location on Reynolds Road, then grew into Highland Hills Community Church that began meeting on Sunday mornings for worship and Wednesday Nite Live (C3HD Small Groups) at our current location on the public square in Glasgow (old recreation building across from Barren Co. BOE). We are an affiliate of Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green, KY.

The Big 5 will keep you ALIVE!
Worship Bible Study Service Fellowship Prayer
The Big 5 are 5 faith practices to which we devote ourselves. Over the years, we have observed and personally experienced that healthy followers of Jesus are actively engaged in all 5 faith practices on a regular basis.
The Big 5 are not something we created. They are practices that are found in scripture and were an important part of the New Testament church described in Acts 2:41-47.
"Those who accepted his (Peter's) message were baptized and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
In this passage, we find the five faith practices to which the Acts 2 church committed themselves. Highland Hills Community Church strongly identifies itself with the structure of this New Testament Church.
The Acts 2 Church was committed to at least five faith practices that we are committed to also.
