Join us for a CRASH COURSE of Business Legislation!! The Small Business Development Committee of the Chamber of Commerce will be having a review of legislation that pertains to the Management and Small Businesses of Glasgow. The Speakers for the event will be State Representative, Steve Riley and State Representative, Bart Rowland. They will be giving you a CRASH COURSE on the updates in our Legislation. There will be time for Q & A. This event is free to Glasgow and Barren County Chamber Members. Date for the event is MAY 23, 2017 at the hour of 7:30 a.m. Pastries and coffee will be provided by The Cakery. Location of event is UK Ag Extension Office. Doors open at 7:00 a.m.

Big thank you to everyone that came out Tuesday for the ribbon cutting at Big Moose's. They are under new management, the new owners are Jimmy and Jenny Wilson which also own the Bar-b-que Hut. So no more waiting in long lines to get your bar-b-que! They now have two locations!

Ribbon Cutting at Salvation Army Headquarters!! Leadership Class project team made up of Kathy Burris(Barren Co. Schools), David Daughdrill (Gillie Hyde Auto Group), Justin Kirkpatrick ( Glasgow Police Department), and Cindi Priddy(PBI Bank) remodeled the room and the room will be used to serve our community by providing a central location for the organization of disaster relief efforts, should they ever be needed. It will also provide a place for board meetings, etc. The room was dedicated to Curt Peil. Curt was very involved with the Salvation Army and he is deeply missed.
