The goal is not & should not be to come into the gym and PR every session. Are you training & practicing movements, or only ever competing? If you're competing, chances are you're taking every short cut you can to get the best time or best score - or maybe even just to try to "RX" the WOD. If you're always working in a sub-optimal position, you are only strengthening that sub-optimal movement pattern & at some point will indefinitely plateau. ***train movement pattern & consistency- then & only then - increase intensity*** If you don't follow this thought process majority of the time you're in the gym, taking the time to listen and receive the message in this video will pay off more than any amount of time you could spend in the gym. It was a good refresher on perspective for myself 👌🏼 I know I will be better in upcoming training sessions after watching this. Thanks Ben Bergeron for great content!
