Vandalism from last night. if anyone saw anything...Call the office at 327-2770

As everyone who was effected knows, the power is back on. We had 91 homes out last night for about 4 hours. TV is over-rated anyway. Thank heavens the fault was a safety trip wire to the "c" section fuse. It came loose and tripped the middle of the park. It did exactly what it was designed to do. Keep 1800 Volts of the grid and fry everything. Keep in mind, those rectangular humming boxes scatttered around the park (39 parkwide). The boxes that I see people sitting on everyday (dumb thing to do). I want to thank the City of Farmington Utility Systems crews for great service. The Linemen deal with extreme high voltage everyday. Avoiding death and dismemberment each time they deal with a problem. My hats of to the peeps. Just a quick side note, they do not like the song about Wichita Lineman and DO NOT call them electricians.

Guess what power is back on. Woo hoo it was a fuse. We love Farmington Electric for the fast service....

Ok, we are getting power to the park so now we all have to pray that it is a fuse in the box. If it is not a fuse we have to trace the line to see where the break is. Tracing will take more time. So go fuse!
