Faribault Police Department
Description
The Faribault Police Department is a full-service agency serving the citizens of and visitors to Faribault. Welcome to the Faribault Police Department Facebook page. The Police Department protects human life and property by responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, enforces laws and ordinances, investigates crimes, apprehends criminals, provides proactive policing through education and crime prevention, and maintains order.
The men and women that work for the Faribault Police Department are committed to providing a quality service to the citizens of this city by working with residents and businesses to maintain a safe community. Through these partnerships, we urge all citizens to be alert for suspicious or unusual activity and anytime you need police, fire, or medical assistance, call 9-1-1.
As your chief, I will guarantee we will work to make certain that we continue to provide impartial policing services, are responsive to the needs of our residents, respectful and honest with those we serve, act with fiscal responsibility, and remain dedicated to improving services through progressive programs, effective training, and better technology.
Finally, I will ensure transparency and accountability as we operate as public servants. We will seek justice for those that we are entrusted to protect and commit to being tough on crime. To reach the Police Department, you may call us at 507-334-4305.
Your Chief,
Andy Bohlen

This gray and white Pit Bull was picked up on the bike trail off Willow Street. It did not have tags or a collar. It can be reclaimed at Camp Canine.
The police department will again be trapping feral cats. After being held for five days, the cats will receive vaccinations, be spayed / neutered and will be available for adoption. We are looking for persons interested in adopting these cats. If local farmers are interested in all-natural, chemical-free rodent control, this may be of interest to you as well. Contact CSO Supervisor Doug Delesha at 507-334-0955 if you are interested in adoption.
It Happens Here, Too: Sex Trafficking in Your Hometown
Sex trafficking is a difficult, unpleasant topic. We often want to look the other way and hope it isn't happening near us. But, in fact, it is happening across Minnesota. KSMQ Public Television created this documentary so people would look, understand, and help. Please call us if you, or someone you know, needs help.
