AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT Auditions for the children's summer workshop will be held Saturday, May 13, 10:00 am to noon, and Monday, May 15, 6:30 pm. to 8:00 pm at the theater (121 S. Second St.) in Eunice. We invite children and youth ages 8-17 to join us. Exceptions can be made for children outside of this age range. We need actors, and we understand that some children would prefer to work behind the scenes, so we need them, too! We also invite parents to participate by working backstage, or on the technical aspects (costumes, set, lighting and sound). Rehearsals will be held evenings beginning May 23, and an occasional Saturday or two. Production dates for the show will be June 15-18. We expect that youth have vacations, camps, softball/baseball during this time frame and may not be able to make all of the rehearsals. Still, we want youth to be able to benefit from what community theatre involvement offers and we encourage you to still come to the audition to talk about how we can work around these conflicts, if possible. We will choose a script that allows for flexibility. If you're interested in your children participating, please comment below with their age and gender (and name, if you choose), so we can have an idea of how many to expect. You can also comment with any questions you have, or you can call the director, Jody L. Powell, at 337-580-1787.
