"B Vader" is the plate that'll be worn by this beautiful 96 Cobra. We fixed the plumbing, induction and electrical issues on this Cobra and then took it to the dyno. With mild boost and some high rpm ignition issues, it still makes a reliable 450 at the wheels on pump gas. It'll be back in July for a few upgrades to get it over 500.

We're moving! We stopped taking new work a couple of months ago in anticipation of the move. We'll be relocating to a bigger, more customer friendly building in Livonia. In addition to more working space, it'll also accomodate a dyno. We'll be taking new projects after the move, about July 1st. Thank you Eastside!

Larry's 68 Bird will be leaving us soon. It came here for a lot of needed TLC to the interior, trim, vacuum accessories, exterior, vinyl top and engine/carb/cooling system work. We also updated the ignition with a point-less conversion. A 68 Bird is a big challenge when trying to find parts! It'll be sad to see it go but we know Larry can't wait to drive it again now that its been sorted out.

Dave's cool 85 t-top car has been here for a while as we and Dave pulled together the parts for it. It had a fuel cell in the cargo area (never a good idea in hatch, the fumes were horrible). Its getting an 85 fuel tank, some interior work, gauge work, all new suspension, subframe connectors and underbody detail as well as some unexpected work. Like a lot of cars we see these days, it had some surprises. When we removed the engine & trans, we could see the strut towers had been poorly repaired and then bondo'd over. We'll fix correctly with welded in repair metal. The engine upon closer inspection turns out to be the one year only 86 with the dreaded E6SE heads and flat top pistons. So.... we'll build a fresh shortblock using a virgin core, a set of GT40 heads and an E303 to give him a nice bump in power.

A beautiful blown 96 Cobra with only 16k miles on the odo is here for control system repairs and tuning. The car was switched to an aftermarket EFI back in the day. Owner was never happy with the way it ran. Its been switched back to the Ford EECV system. The blower plumbing had to be switched back to a MAF friendly system.

As the weather heats up, lots going on at the shop right now. Billy's 92 Vert was here last year for exhaust, 3G alt and some other work. It came back for exterior trim/weatherstripping work, heater core and some other interior updates.

For Sale! A very special find. You'll probably never see anything like this anytime soon. A brand new 2002 Mustang Vert body. It comes with brand new top/frame/motor (works), doors, new hood, new deck lid. The quarter glass is in it too. This was a Ford Body-in-white. It was never a running car. It was stored indoors for 15 years. ZERO rust but a few bumps and bruises from storage. No title and no VIN. $1000 firm

Eric's GT is a great car with potential but we found a few secrets too. It came in for head gaskets after a failed GT40P install. We thought he had a fairly original engine. Nope, .040 block with cast pistons, .020/.020 crank and older rods. The trans was supposed to be a V8 T-5. Nope, 4cyl trans that had seen better days. So we honed, ringed, bearinged, pumped, ARP'd and chained his old block. Put the correct TFS springs and seals on his GT40Ps. Added an Explorer intake and an F303 for extra thump. Of course, added a WC, V8, T-5 too. Runs good and looks good now!

SOLD, SOLD, SOLD! Thanks FBR'ers! A special guest! A really high quality 87 GT. It's not quite a barn find but its a really well done hero that's been in storage for at least 3 years. Not many details are known about this car but for those of us that know our Mustangs, you can easily see the signs that somebody spent a lot of money on this car. - 5.0L, 5spd - SVO heads (I think they are Xs) - GT40 intake - Shorties - Pro-m Mass Air conversion with MAF - 24# injectors - Chrome Ponys w/drag radials - Tubular k-member - A/C, heat and wiper delete - Trunk mount battery with NHRA power switch - Mach 1 glass hood - Very high end paint job on this car. You can tell this car was painted the right way = disassembled, painted & reassembled. - All the trim was either replaced or restored. - Runs hard & sounds awesome! A lot of car for the money that just needs some detailing.
