Congratulations to our wonderful 8th grade class of 2015-16. Today was their last day of school with dismissal at 10:30am. They will have their graduation ceremony tonight at 7pm in the church. Mrs. Knapp and Mr. Mullenschlader and the rest of the ICD staff are so proud of you!

Last Friday was ICD Olympic Day!!! Many games on the field including Frisbee toss, tug of war, potato sack races and the hoola hoop roll. Italy won a virtue award, Mr. Mullenschlader demonstrates the color run in August and Mrs. Knapp cheers on the 8th grade dancers.

CBC Juniors and ICD alumni have been offering their services this week. CBC states that it is the expectation of the administration that all juniors completes their junior year experience in direct service of others during this period so that they will grow in their awareness of the needs of those they serve and become more committed to the service of others. Yesterday our Day of Faith was enhanced by the music of Kyle Huelsing who is the music minister at Lindenwood University. He performed the praise and worship portion of our Day of Faith yesterday.

National Teacher Appreciation Day, also known as National Teacher Day, is observed on the Tuesday of the first full week in May. This day is part of Teacher Appreciation Week, which is the first full week in May of each year. Today the ICD teachers were treated to breakfast on a cart, including egg casseroles, coffee, pastries, and fruit. Thank you to the Walling family and all the parent food donations!
