Competition Induction Designs manufactures industry leading Cylinder Heads & Intake Manifolds utilizing CFD, CAD design & proven engineering principles. CID Heads was started by John Konstandinou. It is the culmination of over two decades of experience manufacturing cylinder heads and intake manifolds.
It all started with the founding of CHI Cylinder Heads in the late 1990's out of Australia, designing and manufacturing the CHI Australian Hemi 6 alloy cylinder head and progressed to the world renowned CHI 3V Cleveland Cylinder heads and intake manifolds, as well as the Commander Windsor Intake Manifolds among others. CHI was sold in 2009 before I moved to the USA.
Nowadays at Competition Induction Designs USA we are focusing on the BE-LS7 intake manifold, our Big Block Chevy Heads and matching intake manifolds as well as our Gen V LT1 cylinder heads.
The BE-LS7 intake manifold and the Gen V LT1 cylinder heads are manufactured in the USA.
The CID BB Chevy heads and manifolds, whilst a product of CID USA, are manufactured in Australia.

Rodney Massengale from RPM Transmissions was kind enough to message me today and let me know how they ran last weekend. Rodney runs a Wilson Manifolds prepped BE LS7 Manifold and just reset the ET record in his class. Outstanding work, and a congratulations is in store for all involved. Proving yet again the BE LS & Ford Intake Design - Platform, is the Premier Cast Intake Design on the Planet.

BE LS3 5.0 getting ready for boost at SPS Cylinder Heads. The BE LS3 5.0 with Wilson Manifolds elbow makes for the Ultimate LS3 boosted Induction system.
Modelling is finished for BE LS 4.5" intake and the BE Ford 4.5" . These will be available later this year. The Ford intake will be available in 4.5" and 5.0" Cross Sections at the plenum end of the runners. The LS manifold will be available in 4.0", 4.5" and 5.0" Cross Sections at the plenum end of the runners This will allow our customers to fine tune their intake choice to their specific combinations like never before possible.
Well done to the crew at Sho-Me Speed winning the Street Race Class at the Street Car Takeover No Prep event held at Heartland Park Topeka on Friday night with the Kraken.

Just witnessed the fastest side by side Funny Car pass in history, and the first Funny Car into the 70's in the one pass, at Brainerd International Raceway MN USA Congratulations to Jon Force Racing and Robert Hight for a spectacular pass into the 70s and Matt Hagan for making it the fastest side by side pass in history.
