Breeding English-Type Labradors Retrievers in our home for your loving home.  We have always had the love for all dogs, but a special place in our hearts for English-Type Labrador Retrievers.

Our first Lab, Kaya, was bred by Jenny Mitchell at Tealwood Kennels. Her dogs are known for their wonderful calm, loving temperament, intelligence, correct type and health and soundness. She has produced successful service dogs, therapy dogs, drug detection, outstanding hunters, and won many titles in AKC events. Most important, all have gone on to be wonderful, loving companions.

Since Kaya was such a wonderful family dog with the most incredible temperament, we decided we would only have another one of her dogs. That is how Isla comes into play....

When we contacted Jenny about a litter she had coming due and the sire (daddy) was the same as Kaya's, it was fate. This was the time for another family member. This litter only produced one female. Jenny wanted to keep Isla for herself since she believed Isla would be a great addition to her breeding program but at the same time she wanted to keep a boy for herself. That's where I come into play with breeding.

Jenny agreed to co-own Isla with me and let her live with us. She would then mentor me through breeding her. Which she did wonderfully and I give her many thanks. I also give a huge thanks to Tina Jewett for also mentoring through this whelp.

Our puppies are raised in our home, cared for 24/7 for the first 8 weeks until they are ready for your loving home.
