Coral Springs Animal Hospital
Description
We are a full service animal hospital offering the following services:
-A Primary Care and Wellness / Preventive Care Practice (General, Family Practice)
-A Specialty Referral Practice with Board Certified Veterinary Specialists in a multitude of medical disciplines
-A 24/7/365 Emergency Critical Care Service (Doctor and nurse staffed at all times).
-A premier modern Boarding facility.
Coral Springs Animal Hospital was established by Lloyd S. Meisels, D.V.M. in September 1977.
The hospital occupied 2,500 square feet of rental space in a shopping center at the corners of Royal Palm Blvd. and University Drive in the City of Coral Springs. Since its opening, thanks to the support and acceptance of our pet owning clientele, the Coral Springs Animal Hospital has experienced consistent and dramatic growth.
The practice which was started with just one doctor and two employees is now staffed by thirty one doctors and over one hundred employees. We have outgrown three buildings and continue to expand to ensure we are consistently meeting or exceeding the varying needs and desires of the large majority of the pet owning public. We are now the largest privately owned animal hospital in the state of Florida and one of the largest in the United States.

facebook.comThe Rehabilitation Service at Coral Springs Animal Hospital now offers gait analysis for dogs. It’s fast and easy and gives us valuable information about your dog’s walk. Your dog will walk across a comfortable pressure-sensitive mat. As your dog walks across the mat, data is collected with every footfall to show how much pressure your dog is placing on each leg. This is a great tool to determine which leg or legs your dog is limping on and can provide goals for treatment. Contact us for more information!

Bella is in the holiday spirit performing her rehab exercises, building back her muscle strength. Bella, a 5 month old Yorkshire Terrier, presented to Coral Springs Animal Hospital on December 5th due to a femur (thigh bone) fracture after falling off the bed. Dr. Caporali, one of our Board Certified Surgeons, repaired Bella's fracture. After surgery, Bella was referred to Dr. Medina, our Board Certified Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist and her team to help rehabilitate Bella and get her back on her paws. Bella seems to truly enjoy her exercises and our team sure loves to see her! Keep up the great work Bella!!!!
