We mowed the tees and green surrounds for the first time yesterday. They are looking lush and well on their way to being exactly like we want them. We're all excited to show everyone the new and improved bottom nine!

Back 9 closed? Not to this group of Disc Golfers!! With help from disc golfers from all over the valley and Bay Area, we held 2 days of disc golf fun on the back 9 holes of our golf course over the weekend. Everyone loved it, and we loved having them out. Be on the lookout for more events like this in the near future.

Mark your calendars.. Sunday, May 7th from 1pm to 10pm, Jill Farris presents, Relax on the Range. Come out to River Oaks Golf Course & Event Center for an enjoyable afternoon and evening. There will be plenty of live music including Austin John Winkler, formerly of Hinder. Good food in the form of good BBQ by Big Vic's BBQ, as well as a variety of drinks. There will also be vendors, crafts, and art. Price of admission is only $15, children are free. Bring out your lawn chairs and blankets, and bring out your friends and family for a great and "relaxing" time at the Oaks.

River Oaks Golf Course's PGA Pro, Greg Silva is offering Junior Beginner golf lessons and a Driver Clinic. The Junior Beginner classes consist of 6 one hour lessons, rule books and golf etiquette guide. Golf clubs will be provided during classes if needed. Classes begin this Sunday at 11:30am. At only $65 dollars, be sure to sign up your future junior golf star. On May 13th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm learn to smash the driver down the fairway from Coach Silva. Winner of multiple long drive competitions, Coach Silva will teach you his secrets to hitting it further than everyone else in your foursome. Gain bragging rights for a small price, the clinic only costs $15 for adults and $10 for children.
